4/7/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Wednesday

by Katie (Jenny Craig 2009 Poster Girl) 7. April 2010 08:04

Are you one of the lucky ones that does not have morning sickness when you're pregnant?  I have pretty much been sick the entire 13 weeks.  I guess I'm catching a glimpse of what it's like to have a chronic illness.  Boy is it depressing.  It really hasn't been up until the past few days that I haven't been sick the entire day.  I was waking up sick, puking off and on throughout the day, and then feeling nauseas all the way until I went to bed.  I ended up just going to bed at 8 because I felt so miserable.  After such a long time of feeling so badly I started to feel sorry for myself.  I couldn't be social, I literally came home from work and sat on the couch or spent the entire day there on the weekends.  I'm an extremely social person so this was really hard for me.  I felt disconnected from my friends and family.  Luckily the past few days it has pretty much diminished to puking first thing in the morning and then I feel better the rest of the day.  Ha!  Now that doesn't mean the chronic fatigue has left yet.  More on this tomorrow..
